I enjoyed this book immensely. The main character, Thomas Reed, was believable. One could actually feel what he was feeling and sympathize with him. The author's facts about the seminary, and the mixed emotions one may wrestle with as he (or she) makes the choice to endeavor in that calling is quite accurate. Perhaps this is a reflection of his past experience.

I found myself not wanting to put the book down! In fact I've recommended it to several friends. I would like to read other literary works by this author. He should be quite proud of this book.
