Review of Ophthalmology, first edition
Ruchi Rai's Best selling book

TWith the cut throat competition in the exam shortage of time is the problem that most of the students preparing for the Post Graduate medical entrance examination face especially during their busy schedule during internship. The ultimate effort lies in revising a given subject in the limited available time and in an efficient way. The book Review of Ophthalmology by Dr. Ruchi Rai is a commendable effort in this direction. It has not only picked MCQs from almost all PG entrance examinations throughout the country but also has fully explained solutions with all relevant material which support a particular solution to the question.

The information provided is definitely a gem of it. And would cater to the needs of every student specially taking care of the gaps which we are not able to fill while reading from our texts.

Ophthalmology as a subject covers 5-7% of all the questions asked in the various entrance examination. Thus allowing not more than 10 % of the available time during internship i.e. 15-20 days. The book, as I think, will not only let one finish the subject in the given time but in efficient way also.

As the book reflects Dr. Ruchi Rai has definitely prepared this book with her foresight putting in her all the experience she has gained, teaching the students for entrance examination using mnemonics and formulas wherever required.

At the end the book definitely stands out among all available stocks of the market as it was the need of the hour to have a book on ophthalmology which would give an edge in the examinations.
