 FAQs (Cont'd from Page 2)

I have seen the Featured Review section in your journal. I have not seen quite like this anywhere else. What exactly is a featured review?

We keep receiving books for review from various publishers. However some books are of such paramount importance that we at the journal office thought one review may not be able to do justice to that book. One opinion may be slanted, perhaps by the individual tastes and preferences of the reviewer. Reviewers from different continents, nations, even different parts of the same nation may perceive a book differently.
Why not send books to two or more different reviewers and get their opinion. We selected some important books for review and asked the publishers to send them to two different reviewers, and they obliged. The first book to be featured in our journal is Ecotoxicology: The Study of Pollutants in Ecosystems by F. Moriarty (Published by Academic Press). It was published on page 18 of Volume 3, Number 1 (January - June 2002).

Featured Review section looks quite interesting to me. How can I submit material for this section?

Not all material is taken up in this section, as this takes up more bytes of costly space. As we said above, only a selected number of material is accepted under this category. If you think you have a book/software/multimedia which is worth featuring, please contact us and let us know the details.

But my question does not appear in this list.

Check out if it is in other pages. If it does not appear even there, please click the E-mail link given below and send the question directly to me.
